      Artificial Bait can be most helpful in freshwater conditions.  Next, 

make sure you get some quality stainless steel hooks, which are less likely 

to rust than other kinds of hooks, and a few sinkers (in case you lose your 

line to a strong fish or a rock below the surface of the water). Buy a cooler 

or a small ice chest to keep refreshments cool and to keep your "catch" 

good.  The pole should have a solid inside to keep it from breaking under 

heavy strain.  Before go fishing, there are a few things you need in order to 

make the experience enjoyable.  Lures may be good for fresh water and 

some saltwater environments.  Make sure you get a reliable fishing pole 

with a good reeling system.  However, underestimate the power of fresh, 

live bait, such as night crawlers or worms (for fresh water).  For salt water, 

you might choose shrimp or small fish.  Fishing is a wonderful way to spend 

a day.  Either way, once you got everything you need, try to enjoy the 

experience. Finally, you want to purchase the best bait for the conditions.
